Brian Kinsey has been in full-time ministry since age eighteen, when he left home to embark on an evangelistic ministry. He married Lanette in 1976, and they traveled together until 1985, when they accepted their first pastorate. During this time, Brian furthered his education and was awarded a Master's degree in Theology. He became involved in district work for Louisiana and served as a sectional youth director eventually being elected as the youth secretary and then as youth president for Louisiana. After five years serving as pastor, he felt a call to return to the evangelistic field. At the 1994 General Conference, Brian was elected as the general youth secretary for the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) moving his family to St. Louis, Missouri. The next year he was elected youth president for the UPCI. He also was appointed as general secretary of General Home Missions. December 1999 he was elected as pastor of the First Pentecostal Church of Pensacola, Florida where he currently pastors. Twenty-six years of ministry has included pastoring, evangelizing, administrating, and writing. Brian has traveled and preached throughout North America and beyond including Great Britain, France, Russia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Brian and Lanette have three children: Dana, Lee, and Lisa Parkey and her husband Bryan and son Dylan.
